St Peter's Vauxhall is a beautiful Grade II listed building, designed by the Victorian architect J.L. Pearson. We aim to be an inclusive, welcoming church, where everyone can explore God and faith, rejoicing in our individuality and diversity whilst affirming the catholic heritage of the Anglican tradition. St Peter's works to promote faith, art and music within the community: St Peter's Singers at evensong each month is becoming an established service in the community, and the annual St Peter's Music Festival goes from strength to strength. St Peter's House (the old vicarage) continues to house a Christian presence with St Peter's Community, a group of lay Christians formed around a common rule of life.
More details about St Peter's services can be found below, and on the What's On page:
St Peter's Sunday worship is a Sung Eucharist at 11.00am, with a Sunday School for small children and opportunities for young people in the congregation to be servers. Tea and coffee, or a glass of wine if you prefer, are served after the service.
Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon, after which the church is open until 2pm for prayer, reflection or simply to look around.
In St Peter's House next door to the church: every Thursday at 9.00pm.
Choral Evensong is usually held on the last Sunday of each month at 6.30pm. This is a beautiful, reflective service which features the voices of St Peter's Singers, headed by Will Fraser, our Director of Music.
